Utah families are being squeezed by rising costs. As your Senator, I will support initiatives that increase the availability of housing and healthcare. Additionally, I will work to abolish the state sales tax on groceries, establish universal childcare and expand home ownership opportunities.
Keep Utah Schools Competitive
Education is the lifeblood of our democracy. As your Senator, I will work to fully fund our public schools to ensure that Utah students are top prospects for jobs and universities. I will strongly oppose any attempt to defund public schools. I will always support educators and I will oppose attempts to undermine their ability to bargain collectively.
Preserving Our Environment
Our environment is in crisis. With rising temperatures and decreased snowpack, we can’t afford to take our natural resources for granted. As your Senator, I will support initiatives that help conserve water, clean our air, and protect the Great Salt Lake, while opposing attempts to undermine public lands.
Listening to Voters
Utah voters are fed-up with governmental power-grabs. As your Senator, I will fight against attempts to overrule citizen initiatives or undermine an independent judiciary. I will seek input from experts and our community when drafting and voting on legislation. Above all, I will further transparency and accountability of government processes.
